Effect of psychological nursing intervention on the symptom al eviation rate of negative emotion and pain of patients with disease of digestive system

Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of psychological nursing intervention on the symptom alleviation rate of depression ,anxiety and pain of patients with disease of digestive system .Methods:130 patients with gastrointestinal diseases were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group (65 cases in each group ) .The patients in the control group were given routine nursing care and the patients in the observation group were given extra psychological nursing intervention .The changes of negative emotion and pain of the pa-tients were compared between the two groups before and after treatment .Results:The scores of SAS and SDS were lower after the interven-tion than those before the intervention in the two groups (P<0.01);the scores of SAS and SDS were lower in the observation group than the control group after the intervention ( P<0.05);the total alleviation rate of pain of the patients was higher in observation group than the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:The psychological nursing intervention can effectively alleviate the negative psychological re -sponse due to fear and anxiety in patients with gastrointestinal diseases so as to reduce the pain of the patients .
