Influence of psychological intervention on blood pressure and quality of life of hypertensive patients with depression

Abstract：Objective:To explore the influence of psychological intervention on the clinical therapeutic effect and quality of life of hyper -tensive patients with depression .Methods:150 hypertensive patients with depression were randomly divided into the intervention group and the control group (75 cases in each group).The patients in the control group received conventional antihypertensive treatment and additon -al psychological intervention was implemented in the intervention group .The antihypertensive effect , the level of depression and quality of life of the patients were observed and compared between the two groups after treatment for 3 months.Results:There were statistically signif-icant differences in the comparison of blood pressure of the patients ,HAMD score and GQLI-64 score between the two groups after treat-ment (P<0.01).Conclusion:The psychological intervention on hypertensive patients with depression can effectively control blood pres -sure,alleviate depression and improve the quality of life of the patients .
