Effect of behavior therapy on the rehabilitation of patients with schizophrenia

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the effect of behavior therapy on the rehabilitation of patients with schizophrenia .Methods:70 pa-tients with schizophrenia were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group (35 cases in each group) by drawing lots. The patients in the control group received conventional nursing care ;the behavior therapy was adopted in the observation group based on conventional nursing care .The rehabilitation effect was assessed by using IPROS and SANS in the two groups .Results:The total scores of SANS and IPROS and the score of each factor were significantly superior in the observation group to the control group after the intervention (P<0.05).Conclusion:The behavior therapy based on the conventional nursing care can relieve the clinical symptoms of patients with schizophrenia and effectively promote the rehabilitation of the patient's mental state .
