Application of nursing intervention to postoperative intravesical chemotherapy for patients with bladder cancer

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of nursing intervention in postoperative intravesical chemotherapy for patients with blad -der cancer .Methods:62 bladder cancer patients undergoing postoperative intravesical chemotherapy were divided into the control group and the experimental group (31 cases in each group) according to the ward number .The patients in the control group only received convention-al health education and a series of nursing intervention was provided for the patients in the experimental group based on the measures in the control group .The incidence of postoperative complications and the influence on quality of life of the patients were compared between the two groups .Results:The incidence of postoperative complications was lower and the quality of life of the patients was better in the experi -mental group than the control group after the intervention (P<0.05).Conclusion:The postoperative intravesical chemotherapy combined with nursing intervention can reduce the incidence of postoperative complications and improve the quality of life of the patients .
