Abstract:Objective:To investigate the application effect of fast track surgery ( FTS) in the perioperative nursing care of surgical pa-tients with gastric cancer .Methods:128 patients undergoing radical gastric cancer surgery were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group (64 cases in each group ) .The conventional perioperative nursing care was implemented in the control group and the corresponding nursing intervention under the guidance of the FTS concept was provided for the patients in the observation group .The level of serum albumin and IgA of the patients ,the recovery time of gastrointestinal function , anal exhaust time and the score of negative emotion were compared between the two groups before and after nursing intervention .Results:The level of serum albumin and IgA of the patients was lower on the first and third day after operation than that before operation in the two groups ( P<0.05);the level of serum albumin and IgA of the patients was obviously higher in the observation group than the control group (P<0.05);the postoperative recovery time of bow-el sound and anus exhaust time were significantly shorter in the observation group than the control group ( P<0.05);the patient's negative emotion level was lower after nursing intervention than that before the intervention (P<0.05);the HAMD score and HAMA score of the patients was lower in the observation group than the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:The nursing intervention under the guidance of the FTS concept can effectively optimize patient's physical status and accelerate the progress of rehabilitation and alleviate patient 's anxiety and depression .
