Application of health education in the treatment of patients with cervical cancer

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the application effect of health education in the treatment of patients with cervical cancer .Methods:103 cervical cancer patients screened from July 2012 to July 2013 were randomly divided into the control group ( n=50) and the observa-tion group(n=53).The routine nursing care was taken in the control group and the comprehensive and systematic health education was conducted in the observation group .The patient's awareness of the related knowledge and the quality of life scores were compared between the two groups .Results:The patient's awareness rate of the related knowledge was significantly higher in both groups after the intervention ( P<0.05);the patient's awareness rate of the related knowledge was obviously higher in the observation group than the control group after the intervention(P<0.05);the scores of life quality of the patients were significantly higher in the observation group than the control group after the intervention(P<0.05).Conclusion:The comprehensive and systematic health education can significantly improve the cog -nition of women to the related knowledge of cervical cancer ,which is conducive to the early detection and treatment of cervical cancer and to improving the life quality of the patients .
