Effect of nursing intervention on rehabilitation of high-risk patients with CABG

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of nursing intervention on rehabilitation of high-risk patients with coronary artery bypass grafting(CABG).Methods:60 patients with CABG were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group(30 cases in each group) .The patients in the control group were given routine nursing care and the patients in the observation group were given compre-hensive nursing care,including abdominal breathing training and the training of cough and defecation in bed before operation,and they were also given guidance on early postoperative activity,diet,medication and psychological instruction according to nursing program.The early adverse events and late complications after operation were observed in the two groups.Results:The cases of adverse events and the inci-dence of complications were significantly fewer and lower in the observation group than the control group(P<0.05);the each index was better in the observation group than the control group(P <0.05).Conclusion:The timely training,early postoperative activities and strengthened psychological guidance can effectively reduce the postoperative complications,shorten the length of hospitalization and promote the recovery of high-risk patients with CABG.
