Application of the assessment mode of responsibility system to nursing management

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the application effect of the assessment mode of responsibility system in nursing management.Meth-ods:2 800 patients admitted to our hospital(from March 2011 to February 2012)were taken as the control group and the traditional method of assessment in the management was used in this group;other 3 000 hospitalized patients( from March 2012 to February 2013) were taken as the observation group and the assessment mode of responsibility system was adopted in the management in this group.The nursing quality indexes and the satisfaction of the patients,head nurse and nurses were compared between the two groups after one year.Results:The nursing quality indexes and the satisfaction of the patients,head nurse and nurses were significantly better in the observation group than the control group( P<0.05).Conclusion:Application of the assessment mode of responsibility system to the management has improved patient satisfaction, strengthened nurses'sense of ownership and nurses'initiative has been fully developed,so the quality of nursing care has been improved.
