Effect of application of flowchart health education model on the lifestyle of patients with peptic ulcer
Abstract：Objective:To explore the effect of application of flowchart health education model on the lifestyle of patients with peptic ul -cer.Methods:120 hospitalized patients with peptic ulcer were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group (60 cases in each group ) .The traditional health education was conducted in the control group and the flowchart health education model was adopted in the experimental group .The patients in both groups were investigated and assessed by using HPLP before and after the application of flowchart health education model .The score in each dimension and the total scores of the patient's lifestyle were compared between the two groups.Results:The score in each dimension and the total scores of the patient's lifestyle were significantly higher in the experimental group than those in the control group after the intervention (P<0.01).Conclusion:The flowchart health education model can help patients and their families obtain more comprehensive and systematic knowledge and establish the good lifestyle by themselves so as to improve the self-management level ,treatment effect and quality of life .
