Comprehensive nursing intervention on 50 patients suffering from DVT after major orthopedic surgery

Abstract:Objective:To discuss the prevention effect of comprehensive nursing intervention on the patients suffering from DVT after major orthopedic surgery .Methods:100 hospitalized patients in our hospital were randomly divided into the observation group and the con -trol group (50 cases in each group) by drawing lots.The routine nursing care was taken in the control group and the comprehensive nurs -ing intervention was adopted in the observation group .Results:Compared with the control group ,the incidence of DVT ,lower limb swelling and pulmonary embolism of the patients was significantly lower ,their satisfaction with nursing care was higher and the days of hospitaliza-tion was fewer in the observation group within 2 weeks after operation (P<0.05,P<0.01);the difference in the comparison of the blood flow velocity in the veins of lower extremity was statistically significant before and after nursing intervention in the observation group ( P<0.05);the blood flow velocity in the veins of lower extremity was faster in the observation group than the control group after nursing inter -vention (P<0.05).Conclusion:The comprehensive nursing intervention can reduce the incidence of DVT and improve the blood flow ve -locity in the veins of lower extremity in the nursing care of patients suffering from DVT after major orthopedic surgery .
