Effect of nursing intervention on the self-image disorder of breast cancer patients after radical mastectomy
Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of nursing intervention on the self -image disorder of breast cancer patients after radical mastectomy .Methods:68 breast cancer patients who had received radical mastectomy in our hospital were selected and the investigation was made on their age ,educational background and occupation ,the data were analyzed .The patients were given targeted nursing intervention . Results:The incidence of self-image disorder was positively correlated with patient's educational level and was negatively correlated with age.The incidence of self -image disorder increased with the upgrading of educational level and decreased with the growth of age .The in-cidence was significantly higher in the urban patients than that in the rural patients .Conclusion:The incidence of self -image disorder was relatively higher in breast cancer patients after radical mastectomy .And the incidence was correlated with patient's age,level of education and living environment .The targeted nursing intervention plays an important role in improving the quality of life of the patients .
