Clinical nursing care for 200 cases of painless labor under epidural anesthesia using Ropivacaine with a smal amount of Fentanyl

Abstract：Objective:To explore the effect of Ropivacaine with a small amount of Fentanyl in epidural anesthesia on labor analgesia . Methods:400 parturient were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group (200 parturient in each group ) .The partu-rient in the observation group voluntarily accepted the painless labor under epidural anesthesia and the parturient in the control group did not choose labor analgesia .Results:The labor pain of parturient in the observation group was lighter than that of the parturient in the control group (P<0.01);the first stage was shorter and birth process progressed faster in the observation group (P<0.05);there were not sta-tistically significant differences in the comparison of 5-minute Apgar score of newborn after childbirth and postpartum bleeding of puerper -ant between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion:The effect of Ropivacaine with a small amount of Fentanyl in epidural anesthesia on labor analgesia is obvious;this kind of analgesia can shorten the time of birth process and has no adverse effects on puerperant and new -born.Careful observation and nursing care can ensure the safety of painless labor .
