Application of appreciation education in the clinical teaching of student nurses in ICU

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the effect of appreciation education in the clinical teaching of student nurses in ICU .Methods:100 student nurses who had practice in intensive care unit (ICU) were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group (50 student nurses in each group ) according to the serial number .The appreciation education method was adopted in the clinical teaching in the observation group and traditional teaching method was used in the control group .The examination and assessment results of the student nurses and their satisfaction with clinical teaching were compared between the two groups .Results:The examination and assessment results of the student nurses and their satisfaction with clinical teaching were superior in the observation group to the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion:The appreciation education method can effectively improve the ability of student nurses in ICU as well as the quality of clinical teaching.
