Application of high quality nursing service to the patients in perioperative period

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the effect of high quality nursing service in the perioperative period on ensuring the safety of opera -tion and quality of service in operation room .Methods:120 patients who received operation from June to December 2010 were taken as the control group and other 120 patients who received operation from June to December 2011 were taken as the observation group .The routine nursing care was taken in the perioperative period in the control group and the high quality nursing service was carried out in the periopera -tive period in the observation group .Results:The satisfaction rate of the patients was significantly higher in the observation group than the control group (P<0.05);the error rate was lower in the observation group than the control group ,but no significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion:The high quality nursing service implemented in perioperative period can have patients get more hu -manized and standardized services ,which promote harmony between nurses and patients and guarantee the safety of patients as well .
