Whole-course video health education in the treatment of 50 patients with urinary calculi by holmium laser lithotripsy

Abstract：Objective:To compare the effect of traditional health education with the whole -course video health education on the treat-ment efficacy in the treatment of urinary calculi with holmium laser lithotripsy .Methods:100 patients with urinary calculi were divided into the observation group and the control group (50 cases in each group ) by the order of admission .The traditional health education was used in the control group and the whole -course video health education was applied in the observation group .Results:The patient's awareness rate of disease related knowledge and satisfaction with nursing care were significantly higher in the observation group than the control group (P<0.01);the preoperative anxiety and fear of the patients was less in the observation group than the control group (P<0.05).Conclu-sion:The whole-course video health education can improve the patient's awareness rate of disease related knowledge and satisfactions with nursing care and can reduce the level of preoperative anxiety and fear of the patients .
