Influence of nursing intervention on the postoperative infection of patients undergoing percutaneous nephrolithotomy using pneumatic lithotripsy

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the influence of nursing intervention on the postoperative infection of patients undergoing percuta -neous nephrolithotomy using pneumatic lithotripsy .Methods:120 patients who would receive percutaneous nephrolithotomy using pneumatic lithotripsy were randomly divided into the intervention group and the control group ( 60 cases in each group ) .The patients in the control group were given routine nursing care and nursing intervention was implemented in the intervention group .The postoperative vital signs of the patients and the complications were compared between the two groups .Results:There were statistically significant differences in the comparison of the patient's body temperature,pulse,respiration,drainage turbidity and the shivering occurrence between the two groups (P<0.05).Conclusion:The effective nursing intervention has little effect on the vital signs of patients undergoing percutaneous nephrolithot -omy using pneumatic lithotripsy and it can reduce the incidence of postoperative infection .
