Application of PDCA cycle in clinical teaching in the department of cardiology
Abstract：Objective:To explore the application effect of PDCA cycle in clinical teaching in the department of cardiology .Methods:276 interns in the department of cardiology were randomly divided into the experimental group (n=157) and the control group (n=119).The traditional teaching medel was used in the clinical teaching in the control group ;PDCA cycle management model was applied to the clinical teaching in the experimental group based on the traditional one .The satisfaction with clinical teaching and the examination results of the in-terns at the end of clinical practice were compared between the two groups .Results:The total score of satisfaction with clinical teaching and the scores of examination were significantly higher in the experimental group than the control group (P<0.01).Conclusion:The PDCA cy-cle mangement applied to the clinical teaching can change the blindness in the traditional clinical teaching and is conducive to the improve -ment of the quality of clinical teaching .
