Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of outpatient health education on the treatment compliance and blood glucose control of dia -betic patients.Methods:238 patients with type 2 diabetes were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group (119 ca-ses in each group ) .The patients in the observation group received outpatient health education and the patients in the control group were given routine follow-up.The treatment compliance and the relevant indexes of blood glucose were compared between the two groups .Re-sults:The treatment compliance of the patients was better after the intervention than those before the intervention in the two groups ( P<0.05);the treatment compliance of the patients was significantly better in the observation group than the control group (P<0.05);the level of blood glucose of the patients was lower after the intervention than that before the intervention in both groups (P<0.05);the level of blood glucose of the patients was significantly lower in the observation group than that in the control group ( P<0.05);the fasting blood glucose, postprandial 2 h blood glucose and HBA1c value were negatively correlated with the level of treatment compliance of the patients (P<0.05).Conclusion:The outpatient health education can improve the treatment compliance of patients with type 2 diabetes and effec-tively reduce the related indexes of blood glucose .The treatment compliance was negatively correlated with blood glucose indexes .
