Application of multidisciplinary comprehensive nursing intervention to elderly patients with hip fractures

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the application effect of multidisciplinary comprehensive nursing intervention on elderly patients with hip fractures.Methods:60 elderly patients with hip fractures were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group (30 cases in each group).The routine nursing intervention on hip fractures was used in the control group and the multidisciplinary compre -hensive nursing intervention was applied in the observation group .CBI,GDS-s,MNA and the incidence of falling down again were com-pared between the two groups when the patients were discharged from hospital for one year .Results:The self-care ability and nutrition sta-tus of the patients were superior in the observation group to the control group one year after discharge (P<0.05);the risk of suffering from depression was significantly lower in the observation group than the control group (P<0.05);the difference in the comparison of the inci-dence of falling down again was not statistically significant between the two group (P>0.05).Conclusion:The multidisciplinary compre-hensive nursing intervention can obviously improve the self -care ability of the patients and reduce the risk of malnutrition and depression .
