Effect of early rehabilitation nursing on the postoperative recovery of hand function of children patients with flexor tendon injury

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of early rehabilitation nursing on the postoperative recovery of hand function of children patients with flexor tendon injury.Methods:84 children patients with hand flexor tendon injury were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group (42 cases in each group).The individualized rehabilitation program ,rehabilitation education to their parents and functional training were adopted in the experimental group;the traditional rehabilitation nursing measures were taken in the control group.The total active motion(TAM) and postoperative function recovery of the affected hand were compared between the two groups .Re-sults:Following up for one year,TAM and the excellent and good rate of postoperative function recovery of the affected hand of the children were higher in the experimental group than the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:The individualized rehabilitation program ,rehabilita-tion education to their parents and functional training can effectively promote the postoperative recovery of hand function of children pa -tients with flexor tendon injury .
