Investigation on the status of job burnout of nurses in the grade Ⅲ class A hospitals of Ningxia autonomous region

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the status of job burnout of nurses in the grade Ⅲclass A hospitals of Ningxia autonomous region . Methods:The nurse's job burnout scale of international standard was used to conduct the questionnaire survey on 1 084 clinical nurses in the existing three hospitals at the level of grade Ⅲclass A in Ningxia autonomous region .Results:The detection rates of nurse emotional exhaustion in the high ,middle and low degrees were 53.2%,33.1% and 13.7% respectively;the detection rates of depersonalization in the high,middle and low degrees were 78%,19%and 3%;the detection rates of reduction in the sense of personal accomplishment in the high,middle and low degrees were 94.1%,4.4%and 1.5%.And the difference of the status of the investigated nurses was statistically significant (P<0.05) compared with American Maslach norm (n=1 104).Conclusion:The status of job burnout of nurses is serious in the hospitals at the level of grade Ⅲclass A in Ningxia autonomous region ,which should be paid much attention to by the relevant depart-ments.
