Effect of the transitional care model in transition period on anxiety and depression of patients with severe craniocerebral injuries
Abstract：Objective:To study the effect of transitional care model in transition period on anxiety and depression of patients with severe craniocerebral injuries .Methods:The randomly selected 60 patients with severe craniocerebral injuries ( hospitalized from Oct .2011 to May 2012 ) were taken as the experimental group ,they were moved from ICU to ward and were given psychological care according to the transi-tional care model in transition period;other 60 patients selected at the same period were taken as the control group and the patients in this group were given routine psychological care .Results:The incidence and scores of anxiety and depression were significantly lower in the ex -perimental group than the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:The transitional care model in transition period can improve the psycho-logical state and reduce anxiety and depression of patients with severe craniocerebral injuries .
