Abstract:Based on Guangdong's customs export data from 2015 to 2024,this study employed descriptive statistics and the Herfindahl-Hirschman Index(HHI)to systematically analyze the scale dynamics, structural evolution, product concentration, and country-specific patterns of the province's vegetable exports to the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership(RCEP)market. The findings revealed that:(1)The export scale continued to expand, reaching 1.274 billion yuan in 2024,a 233.5%increase from 2015,with a compound annual growth rate(CAGR)of 14.32%.Growth momentum significantly strengthened after RCEP's entry into force in 2022.(2)The market structure was characterized by"ASEAN dominance,Japan-South Korea quality upgrading, and Australia-New Zealand emergence".ASEAN's market share rose from58.3%to71.6%,with Vietnam remaining the top destination(exports of 385 million yuan in 2024).(3)Product concentration consistently declined,as reflected in the HHI dropping from 0.284 in 2015 to 0.176 in 2024,signaling a clear diversification trend, although the top five HS-coded products still accounted for 80.0%of exports.(4)The policy effects of RCEP began to materialize, with exports rising 18.2%year-on-year in 2022 and showing a pronounced leverage effect on marginal markets such as Australia and New Zealand.
