Abstract:This study explores the impact mechanism and synergistic effects of rural e-commerce policies and digital inclusive finance on rural residents'income.Utilizing panel data from 121 counties in Yunnan Province from 2014 to 2022,we employ a difference-in-differences(DID)approach,alongside fixed effects and interaction term regressions,to empirically analyze the implementation outcomes of the E-commerce Demonstration County Program and the role of digital inclusive finance in fostering rural economic growth. The results indicate that the rural e-commerce policy significantly raises rural residents'income. The development of digital inclusive finance not only effectively alleviates farmers'financing constraints and reduces production costs but also amplifies the positive effects of the e-commerce policy, particularly in western regions with weaker economic foundations.Based on these findings, this paper proposes policy recommendations, including enhancing investment in rural e-commerce infrastructure and policy support, accelerating the innovation and popularization of digital inclusive financial services, formulating regionally differentiated development strategies, and strengthening rural talent training and multi-stakeholder collaboration. These recommendations provide a theoretical basis and practical guidance for promoting agricultural modernization, optimizing the rural industrial structure, and advancing rural revitalization.
