Development Status,Problems and Countermeasures of Lychee Industry in Conghua District,Guangzhou City in 2024

Abstract：Conghua District of Guangzhou is one of the important producing areas for Lychee in Guangdong Province.In order to grasp the current development status of the regional lychee industry,evaluate the competitiveness of regional industrial,and explore the sustainable development path of the lychee industry,this paper uses the method of field research to systematically analyze the development status of the lychee industry in Conghua District.Based on the research results,this paper analyzes the characteristics and establishes a basic portrait of lychee farmers in the region.The study finds that the degree of land fragmentation in lychee production in Conghua District is low,and the degree of variety centralization is high.At the same time,there are widespread problems of poor crop and lack of production technology.The lychee sales are highly commercialized,with concentrated distribution channels.Due to factors such as poor crop and high costs,the average annual income of lychee growers in Conghua District was 12647.55 yuan per household in 2024.Finally,this paper puts forward suggestions from three aspects:large-scale operations,specialized development,and the integration of the primary,secondary,and tertiary industries,aiming to provide data support and practical references for promoting the high-quality development of regional characteristic agriculture.
