Abstract:Against the backdrop of global climate change caused by the intensification of greenhouse effect, research on carbon emissions is currently one of the core contents. Therefore, this study analyzes the spatiotemporal characteristics of carbon sources and sinks in cultivated land in Jiangxi Province, explores the driving factors of cultivated land carbon sources and sinks, and provides theoretical basis and data support for the reduction of cultivated land carbon emissions in Jiangxi Province.Based on agricultural statistical data such as crop yield, farmland tillage, fertilizers, pesticides, etc.,the carbon emission coefficient method and carbon absorption parameter estimation method were used to calculate the carbon emissions and carbon absorption of cultivated land in Jiangxi Province from 2010 to 2022.The LMDI decomposition model and Kaya identity were used to decompose the driving factors.Main conclusion:During the research period, the carbon emissions from cultivated land in Jiangxi Province showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing, while the overall carbon absorption from cultivated land showed an upward trend.Farmland plowing and chemical fertilizers are the main sources of carbon emissions;Rice is the main crop carbon sink.In the decomposition results of driving factors, agricultural production efficiency and agricultural labor force have a inhibitory effect on carbon emissions, while agricultural economic level and agricultural industrial structure have a promoting effect; The carbon sink coefficient and carbon sink technology mainly promote the carbon absorption of arable land, while agricultural labor and carbon sink structure have inhibitory effects.
