The Research of Trust of Farmers' Professional Cooperatives in the Life Cycle Perspective:Based on‘ShengLi GuoXiang’ Farmers Cooperatives Case Analysis

Abstract：Trust is vital to formation and development of farmers' professional cooperatives. According to the life cycle theory, specialized farmer cooperatives like other forms of organizations, can be divided into the birth, growth, maturity and differentiation (recession or redevelopment) four stages. Accordingly, the farmers’ trust for cooperative also showed regular changes with the life cycle, that is, born stage shows the relationship trust, growth stage shows institution-based trust, mature stage shows system trust. Trust rupture can be occured at any stage ,and it causes the decay of cooperatives. Based on it, the research built a cooperative trust development life cycle model and proposed some suggestions for promoting cooperative trust's maintenance.
