Research on Farmer Household’s Forestland Transfer Behavior and its Inlfuencing Factors in Shaoguan Guangdong--A Descriptive Statistics

Abstract：Based on a set of survey data of 107 farmers in 3 counties 7 towns in Shaoguan City, Guangdong province, this paper analyzed the influencing factors of forestland transfer including family characteristics, forest resource endowments and foresters awareness of the reform. The results showed that:ratios of the forestry income in family total income, forestland area, forestland distance from home have different degrees of impact on farmer household’s forestland transfer behavior. Therefore, the government should further step up publicity efforts to strengthen reform;continue supporting measures to improve the implementation of forest change, while increasing investment in education and improvement of rural infrastructure.
