Study on Farmers Planting Behavior and Willingness of Low Carbon Planting--An Example Taking in Hebei Province as an example

Abstract：This research conducted a questionnaire survey entitled with planting behavior and low-carbon planting willingness in Handan, Hebei Province. It found that farmers were highly dependent on fertilizer, pesticides, agricultural iflms and agricultural machinery, which were the main factors inlfuencing the low carbon agricultural development;The economic development level and the farmers' educational level significantly affected farmers' cognition and intention on low-carbon planting;Knowing nothing about low-carbon planting technology, lacking of policy support, high cost of low carbon planting and preference of farmers to the traditional cultivation were the main reasons to hamper the farmers to choose low-carbon planting.
