Abstract：In the context of urban-rural integration, new rural construction raises new requirements on the functions of training rural cadres. To meet the needs of times, colleges and universities participate in training rural cadres, which is an inexorable trend of the development of training programs, as well as a critical path thought which colleges and universities could help promote the rural development. Therefore, after summarizing the previous training experience and the current problems, colleges and universities should make full use of their advantages to scientifically test training programs, constantly innovate the training patterns, and gradually set up and perfect the long-term management mechanism of the training programs. Moreover, they should also make the training curriculum adapt to the adjustment to the rural industry structure.
