The Research of Results of Merger of Villages--based on the case of Zhejiang TY Village

Abstract：In most areas of Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces, village merger policy (also known as adjustment of the village scale) has been implemented for several years. After the merger, in Zhejiang TY village, its village-level organizations run more smoothly, the level of public services is quite different from before, rural landscape also has a new look, and various remarkable results are achieved. But there are still some problems, for example, factional struggles are more serious, the funding of public services is in short, "service radius" is too big. Therefore, we must improve the quality of village cadres, and expand the overall thinking to alleviate the factional struggles, and find ways to develop the collective economy, while increasing subordinate service stations to facilitate to the villagers, to safeguard the achievements after the merger of the village can be maintained long and steady.
