Empirical study of the relationship between citrus industry intermediary organization and farmers’ business performance of Deqing County

Abstract：This study conducts a questionnaire survey on and analyzes the costs and benefits of citrus production and management of Deqing farmers from 2010 to 2012, farmers’ cognitive degree and evaluation to agricultural intermediary organizations, production and operation difficulties and needs of intermediary organizations, relationship between intermediary organizations and agricultural production and operation performance (subjective) and other issues of Deqing County. The results showed that the development of agricultural intermediary organizations still can’t meet the needs of farmers, which needs to be further improved and developed.
