A Study on Abandonment of Rural Contracted Land --Case Study of Longde County, Ningxia

Abstract：In recent years, Chinese economy is booming, while farmers' land abandonment is directly affecting social and economic development in rural areas, grain yield of China and also causing a series of social problems. Longde County, Guyuan City, Ningxia as a case, this study analyzes the cause of the problem and brings forward suggestions to use rural land more wisely, so as to boost social and economic development of rural areas and help to build new socialist countryside. This study can also be used for reference for the land problem of mountainous rural areas.
