SOUTH ARCHITECTURE

Abstract：Southern Architecture was first published in 1981 and since 2008 has been sponsored and re-launched by the College of Architecture at South China University of Technology. Guided by Xi Jinping's new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics, Southern Architecture keeps pace with the major decisions and deployments of the Party and the state, and adheres to the principles of 'emphasizing research, theory, and innovation'. It aims to establish an academic highland and original platform for innovation exchange in the architecture industry. As a core journal in the disciplines of architectural science and technology in China, it focuses on national development strategies and takes the development of the industry as its responsibility. In recent years, it has compiled and published a series of high-quality research results on hot topics such as Beautiful China, green buildings, rural revitalization, building industrialization, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, ancient relay stations, and greenways. Positioned as a high-level academic and research-oriented journal, it promptly reflects original achievements in disciplines such as architecture, urban planning, and landscape architecture. To promote discipline construction and talent development, more than half of the papers published annually are authored by master's and doctoral students.
