Abstract：Green community design is an important means and approach for building a habitable city and to achieve energy saving and emission reduction targets. This paper firstly reviews the parametric optimization design method and platform profile for green communities, and, based on this, presents the new functions of plane generation, noise, ventilation and visibility calculations, and the updates to the sky obstruction algorithm. Additionally, practical applications in Guangzhou are described, as well as prospects for future research, development and application directions.
