Actual Measurement Analysis on Indoor Environment of Green Buildings in Chongqing

Abstract：In recent years, green buildings have developed rapidly. However, as most projects do not move past the design stage, the operational conditions and practical impacts of the green building remains largely unknown. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct analysis of key building metrics during operation. This paper reports on the analysis of ten operational green buildings in Chongqing. Through on-site surveys, tests and questionnaire surveys, using integrated subjective and objective evaluation methods, actual indoor environmental conditions were determined including thermal environment, light environment, acoustic environment and interior air quality. Additionally, the technical reasons for these conditions were determined, as were the key existing problems in the indoor environment and corresponding solutions, which are helpful in guiding future project design, construction and operation management.
