Abstract：This paper initiates karma regeneration of traditional commercial street from the point of view of 'the third world cause and effect', which is normally known as "past life", "life is life" and "regeneration". Through the case of Kelan's traditional commercial district, this paper firstly reviewd the history of the commercial district; and then analysed the its quo status. It finally establishes a model of streetscape regenerative design for traditiona commercial street of Kelan. It aims to draw the conclusion of the textural regenerative method for district street space, which includes two regeneration countermeasures, five regeneration methods, two major methods of expression and six major technical practices.
