How South China Historical Trail Facilitates Rural Transformation Development: A Case Study of Ruyuan-Lechang Part of the Ancient Route of Xijing

Abstract：The Ancient Route of Xijing has a long history and many relics. Its surrounding areas are rich in natural and human resources, but poor in rural economic and living condition of villagers, especially with the serious phenomenon of "hollow village". Now the exploitation of the Ancient Route of Xijing provides the surrounding rural areas with development opportunities. Based on the analysis above, this paper further analyzes the lookingforward effects, recall effects and lateral effects of the exploitation of the Ancient Route of Xijing and explains how the Ancient Route of Xijing can facilitate rural transformation development.This study can provide reference for the rural areas surrounding South China historical trail to realize rural transformation development.
