The Renovation Techniques of Chen's Ancestral Hall in Shunde Lecong

Abstract：In the renovation project of Chen's Ancestral Hall in Shunde Lecong, besides the traditional renovation techniques, numbers of innovative technological achievements were developed and applicated, such as static pressure grouting reinforcement of foundation, inclining deformed wall repair techniques, post and lintel structure renovating techniques, clay sculpture renovation techniques, brick sculpture renovation techniques, etc. These solved a number of technical difficulties in protection, completely eliminated cultural relics' safety hazard, insured safety of the ancient building structure, without reducing the value of cultural relics while restoring the historical architectural style. It offers a reference for the same kind of renovation works.
