The Unity of Compactness and Diversity of the Intensive Primary School Campus: Taking Guangzhou Baiyun New District Primary School Design as an Example

Abstract:Along with the rapid advance of urbanization, many primary and secondly school campus which located in the central urban district are short of land resources. Therefore, the Intensive Design has gradually become the main trend of the development of primary and secondary schools. At the same time, Examination-Oriented Education is transferred to quality education now, which raises new requirement for the teaching space.This article will take the design of the Guangzhou baiyun district primary school for example to explore how to make full use of land resources by the way of compact and efficient intensive design to deal with the problem that primary and secondly school campus are short of land resource, at the same time, create a diversified campus space which will do good for the development of the quality education under the above background.
