Abstract：Chinese National Informatization Plan proposed that it's necessary to improve urban construction and management. It is a problem for urban design to be more scientific. The digital technology is proved to be useful for Urban design. The paper summarizes the practice of urban design digital technology, describes a framework of urban design digital technology and points out fiverequirements for urban design digital technology. At last it introduces the experience of urban design digital technology in Baiyun New Town.
