Research Progress on Theory and Practice for Ecological Rehabilitation in the View of Human Settlement

Abstract：With the increasing speed of urbanization, the deterioration of the ecological environment has become a serious problem that cannot be ignored in the construction of human settlement in our country. To carry out the ecological rehabilitation in the view of human settlement is a significant channel to solve the environmental problems in the process of urban development. However, at present, the researches on theory and practice for ecological rehabilitation in the view of human settlement are relevantly rare in China. This paper, collects and analyzes the relevant literature at home and abroad for more than 20 years (1996-2017) by adopting Web of ScienceTM, ScienceDirect and CNKI Literature Database, summarizes and evaluates the driving forces of ecosystem degradation, theories and methods, evaluations, policies and systems of ecological rehabilitation of human settlement at home and abroad, points out the shortcomings in the current researches and puts forward the future research emphasis in this field, so as to give a certain reference for the relevant researches and practices in the future.
