Applications of "Intensification Mode" in Primary and Secondary School Designs

Abstract：The concept of "spatial intensification" has become a trending topic in all types of architecture practice due to current urban problems. This concept became a new approach to the design of primary and secondary school. From a typological perspective, this article analyzed the phenomenon of" spatial intensification" in primary and secondary school designs in their spatial characteristics and functional organizations. By introducing outstanding domestic practices in this field, this article also summarized design strategies so as to provide references of design methodologies in this new type of educational space.
