A Green Building is a Higher-Quality Building

Abstract：Having gone through 10 years, green building industry in China is still on the rise due to its great potential in energy conservation and emission reduction. The evaluation system of green buildings in China is the dominant standard system of the national green campaign. Green-accredited buildings in China have higher qualities than regular buildings in functions, indoor and outdoor environmental comfort, architectural appearance and services. Being green is not only a concept, but also a source of outstanding architecture practices. Large scale development and effective promotion of green buildings will greatly enhance the level of architectural designs and building qualities in China.
