Post Planning Evaluation of the New Railway Station: the Empirical Analysis and Interpretation of New-type Railway Station Planning in China

Abstract：The planning of railway station is of great importance to the achievement of the function. Based on railway station preliminary investigation and planning theory analysis, this paper builds the evaluation index system of passenger in the aspects of traffic function coordination, transportation demand, urban function coordination,to conduct post evaluation of the planning for 10 railway stations in China, and analyzes the distribution of station evaluation results by means of multidimensional scaling analysis. Nevertheless, the paper proposes several suggestions for the planning and renewal of new-type railway station in China.
