Investigation Analysis and Policy Recommendations of Rural Living Environmental in Guangdong Province

Abstract：Since 2000, the government of Guangdong province has been keeping invest in the infrastructure and public services facilities of village. The main target of village development has been met, however there is still big difference between the rural and urban area in the living environment. Through a comprehensive investigation and scientific analysis of the problems of rural living environment in Guangdong Province, and based on the urbanization which is the fundamental solution to improve the rural living environment,it is advised to develop the spatial strategic planning of provincial urbanization and formulate regional policies on urbanized areas and rural areas. In urbanized areas, the municipal government co-ordinates the urban-rural development, develops the restructuring and development plan of rural-urbanization in the city region, as well as defines and determines the type of village and its planning policy of three different types of villages, based on how much it is influenced by the city.In rural areas, the provincial government is responsible for rural protection and development together with the county government; dividing rural villages into three different types of villages based on regional planning objectives and provide different supporting policies and guides accordingly.
