Abstract：City location is has significant relationship to the development of the history of the city. As the local city of Shaoguan, mainly had two moving city in history. Article on the basis of field investigation and relevant literature to move past city has carried on the thorough analysis, the cause of tries to find the rule of migration in the ancient city of Shaoguan put forward the change of the country's political situation and the traffic pattern transformation makes the ancient Shaoguan city location folows the law of potential.
