Abstract：Confucian Temple is the importance composition of city layout and space structure in ancient China, and the representiveness of the city system as wel. With the application of philology theory and case study in Shandong, the paper has explained the history and development progress of Ningyang Confucian Temple, and three phases of spatial evolution of the Confucian Temple have been revealed.
