Cane Sugar Industrial Heritage in Pearl River Delta

Abstract：This article sorts out the modern development of cane sugar industry in Guangdong Province, and summarizes the location characteristics of modern cane sugar factory in the Pearl River Delta, compared the typical sugar factory layout and expansion process. This paper analyzes the existing composition and utilization of cane sugar factory industrial heritage in Pearl River Delta, and evaluates the value of heritage and conservation status.
