Abstract：Based on the interpretation of the site's value, significance and importance in Architecture, this paper emphasizes that site memory makes a potential and profound impact on the architectural generation. Architects should pay high attention on the value of site memory, and carry on the design within the macroscopic space-time context. Thus, architecture can get more rich connotation and meaning. This paper also uses an specific case to show how to develop design based on site memory.
